✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, which of the places is best?" He said: "I do not know." He said: "Then which of the places is worst?" He said: "I do not know." Then Jibril came to him, and he said: "Ask your Lord." Jibril said: "We do not ask Him about anything," and he trembled a trembling by which Muhammad ﷺ almost fell unconscious from the two of them. When Jibril ascended, Allah, exalted is He, said: "Muhammad asked you which of the places is best, and you said I do not know, and he asked you which of the places is worst, and you said I do not know." He said: "Yes." He said: "Then tell him that the best of places are the mosques and the worst of places are the marketplaces."
