✧ Regarding the statement of Abdullah bin Abjar

فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُصَيْرٍ الْخُلْدِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْمُقْرِي ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ» «وَقَدْ وَجَدْنَا لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ مُتَابِعِينَ فِي رِوَايَةِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ وَهُمْ زَاذَانُ أَبُو عُمَرَ وَعَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَوْسُ بْنُ ضَمْعَجٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Adorn the Quran with your voices.' We have found for 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awsajah, from al-Bara', corroborating narrators in the transmission of this hadith from al-Bara': Zadhan Abu 'Umar, 'Adi b. Thabit, and Aws b. Dam'aj.
