فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ بِالطَّابَرَانِ وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ الْفَقِيهُ بِبُخَارَى قَالَا ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ» قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكُنْتُ نَسِيتُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ حَتَّى ذَكَّرَنِيهِ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Beautify the Quran with your voices.” Abd al-Rahman said, “I had forgotten this phrase until al-Dahhak b. Muzahim reminded me of it.”
