✧ Abu Bakr al-Siddiq asked the Prophet ﷺ, saying: 'Command me with words that I say when I enter upon morning and when I enter upon evening.' He said: 'Say: O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Lord of everything and its Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self and the evil of Satan and his polytheism.' He said: 'Say it when you enter upon morning, and when you enter upon evening, and when you take to your bed.'
