✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, "Is there any stranger among you?" meaning from the People of the Book. We said, "No, O Messenger of Allah." He ordered the door to be locked and said, "Raise your hands and say: There is no god but Allah." We raised our hands for a while, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lowered his hand and said, "Praise be to Allah. O Allah, You sent me with this word, commanded me to it, and promised me Paradise for it; indeed You do not break Your promise." Then he said, "Rejoice, for Allah has forgiven you."
