✧ I was a man who hired out camels for this journey, and some people told me that I had no Hajj. I met Ibn 'Umar and said: O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, I am a man who hires out camels for this journey, and some people tell me that I have no Hajj. He said: Do you not enter ihram, recite the talbiyah, circumambulate the Ka'bah, pour forth from 'Arafat, and stone the jamarat? I said: Yes. He said: Then you have a Hajj. A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about something similar to what you asked me, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent and did not answer him until this verse was revealed: {There is no blame on you in seeking bounty from your Lord} [al-Baqarah: 198]. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent for him and recited this verse to him, and said: "You have a Hajj."
