حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَنْ أَهْدَى تَطَوُّعًا ثُمَّ ضَلَّتْ فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَبْدَلَهَا وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ فِي نَذْرٍ فَلْيُبَدِّلْ»

✧ Whoever offers a voluntary sacrifice and then it goes astray, if he wishes he may replace it, and if he wishes he may leave it. But if it was for a vow, then he must replace it.
