حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ الْإِمَامُ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَسَّانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ الْخَاقَانِيُّ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«الْمُتَطَوِّعُ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ صَامَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَفْطَرَ»

✧ The one who fasts voluntarily has the choice: if he wishes, he fasts, and if he wishes, he breaks his fast.
