أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الرَّازِيَانِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ هَشَشْتُ يَوْمًا فَقَبَّلْتُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ وَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ صَنَعْتُ الْيَوْمَ أَمْرًا عَظِيمًا فَقَبَّلْتُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ تَمَضْمَضْتَ مَاءً وَأَنْتَ صَائِمٌ؟» قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «هَذَا» حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

✧ He said: One day I felt desire and kissed while I was fasting. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'Today I did a grave thing: I kissed while fasting.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What do you think if you rinsed your mouth with water while fasting?' I said, 'There is no harm in that.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'So this.' This is a sound hadith according to the conditions of the two shaykhs, but they did not include it.
