أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرْزَةَ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ ثنا سُفْيَانُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَنْبَأَ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عِنْدِي دِينَارٌ قَالَ «تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى وَلَدِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى زَوْجِكَ» أَوْ قَالَ «عَلَى زَوْجَتِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى خَادِمِكَ» قَالَ عِنْدِي آخَرُ قَالَ «أَنْتَ أَبْصَرُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ ordered charity, and a man said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a dinar." He said, "Give it in charity on yourself." He said, "I have another." He said, "Give it in charity on your child." He said, "I have another." He said, "Give it in charity on your wife" or he said, "on your spouse." He said, "I have another." He said, "Give it in charity on your servant." He said, "I have another." He said, "You know best."
