أَخْبَرْنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْقَارِئُ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

لَمَّا مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَاحَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ هَذَا مِنِّي وَلَيْسَ بِصَائِحٍ حَقُّ الْقَلْبِ يَحْزَنُ وَالْعَيْنُ تَدْمَعُ وَلَا يُغْضَبُ الرَّبُّ»

✧ When Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, died, Osama bin Zaid shouted, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is not from me, nor is it the cry of someone truly grieving. The heart feels sorrow and the eye sheds tears, but Allah is not angered."
