أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِمْلَاءً ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ
كَانَ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ كَلِمَاتٍ كَانَ يُعَظِّمُهُنَّ جِدًّا قُلْتُ فِي الِاثْنَتَيْنِ كِلَاهُمَا؟ قَالَ بَلْ فِي الْمُثَنَّى الْآخَرِ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ قُلْتُ مَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ «أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ» قَالَ وَكَانَ يُعَظِّمُهُنَّ

✧ He used to say, after the tashahhud, words that he greatly emphasized. I said: In both of the two? He said: Rather in the second tashahhud, after the tashahhud. I said: What is it? He said: “I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of Hell, and I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the false messiah, the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in Allah from the trials of life and death.” He said: And he used to greatly emphasize them.
