حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«مَنْ أَصَابَ حَدًّا فَعَجَّلَ اللَّهً لَهُ عُقُوبَتَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَاللَّهُ أَعْدَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يُثَنِّي عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَمَنْ أَصَابَ حَدًّا فَسَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَفَا عَنْهُ فَاللَّهُ أَكْرَمُ مِنْ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي شَيْءٍ قَدْ عَفَا عَنْهُ»

✧ Whoever commits an offense for which a prescribed punishment is due, and Allah hastens his punishment in this world, then Allah is more just than to double the punishment for His servant in the Hereafter. And whoever commits an offense, and Allah conceals it for him and pardons him, then Allah is more generous than to return to something He has already pardoned.
