machine translationIt is narrated by Ismāʿīl b. ʿUbaydillāh b. Abī Muhājir al-Makhzūmī, and there is disagreement about it from him. Abū al-Mughīrah narrated it from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd b. Tamīm, from Ismāʿīl, from Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Ashʿarī, from Abū Hurayrah. Abū Usāmah narrated it and said: from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd b. Jābir, and he erred in his lineage; he is only ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd b. Tamīm, and he followed Abū al-Mughīrah in the chain. Abū Ghassān Muḥammad b. Muṭarrif narrated it from Abū al-Ḥuṣayn, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "Fever is the believer's share of Hell, and whatever of it afflicts him is his share of the Fire." Shabābah said this from Abū Ghassān. It is also said, from Yazīd b. Hārūn, from Abū Ghassān, from Abū al-Ḥuṣayn, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Umāmah. Saʿīd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Tanūkhī narrated it from Ismāʿīl b. ʿUbaydillāh, from Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Ashʿarī, from Kaʿb as his own saying, and that is the correct one.
