✧ The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ led them in prayer, recited a long surah, bowed five times, and prostrated twice. Then he stood for the second rak'ah, recited a long surah, bowed five times, and prostrated twice. Then he sat facing the qiblah, supplicating until the eclipse cleared. The two Shaykhs abandoned Abu Ja'far al-Razi and did not narrate from him, but his standing with the other imams is excellent, and this hadith has sound wording and truthful narrators.
