✧ He witnessed the Prophet ﷺ at the time of al-Ḥudaybiyyah, and rain fell upon them on a Friday but did not wet the bottoms of their sandals. "So the Prophet ﷺ commanded them to pray in their dwellings." This is a hadith with an authentic chain, and the two shaykhs have used its narrators as proof. It is of the type in which they sought a follow-up for the tābiʿī from the Companion, and they did not include it. ṣaḥīḥ.
