al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim) 1035

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ وَبَرَةَ الْجُعْفِيِّ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَبِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

Bālawayh informed me: ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal narrated to us, he said: I heard my father when he was asked about the hadith of Hammām from Qatādah, and Khallād b. al-ʿAlāʾ's narration of it, and he said: Hammām is more reliable in memorization with us than Ayyūb b. al-ʿAlāʾ.
