   " أَبْطَأَ جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ: مَا أَرَى صَاحِبَهُ إِلَّا قَدْ أَبْطَأَ عَلَيْهِ ! فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَالضُّحَى وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى

   ✧ "Jibril ﷺ was slow in coming to the Prophet ﷺ. A woman said: 'I think his companion has been slow in coming to him!' So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: 'By the morning brightness and by the night when it grows still, your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased.'"

   شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ أَضْحَى فَقَالَ: مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ مِنْكُمْ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيُعِدْ مَكَانَ ذَبِيحَتِهِ أُخْرَى، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ذَبَحَ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللهِ

   ✧ I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ giving a sermon on the day of sacrifice. He said: "Whoever among you has slaughtered before the prayer, let him repeat another in place of his slaughtered animal. And whoever has not slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah."

   خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَعَثَرَتْ إِصْبَعُهُ فَدَمِيَتْ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ أَنْتِ إِلَّا إِصْبَعٌ دَمِيتِ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مَا لَقِيتِ.

   ✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to prayer and his toe stubbed and bled. He said: "Are you anything but a toe that has bled, and in the path of Allah what you have suffered."

   " مَنْ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَمَنْ أَخْفَرَ اللهَ فِي ذِمَّتِهِ كَبَّهُ اللهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فِي النَّارِ

   ✧ "Whoever prays the morning prayer is under the protection of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And whoever violates Allah's protection, Allah will cast him on his face into the Fire."
