   " مَا الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا كَمَا يَغْمِسُ أَحَدُكُمْ أُصْبُعَهُ فِي الْيَمِّ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا فَيَنْظُرُ بِمَا تَخْرُجُ

   ✧ “The world in comparison to the Hereafter is only like one of you dipping his finger into the sea, then raising it and seeing what comes out.”

   أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِشَاةٍ مَيْتَةٍ فَقَالَ: لَلدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا

   ✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead sheep and said: “The world is more insignificant to Allah than this is to its owners.”

   " بُعِثْتُ فِي نَفَسِ السَّاعَةِ، سَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذِهِ هَذِهِ وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى

   ✧ “I was sent in the final breath of the Hour; I preceded it as this one preceded this one,” and he gestured with his index and middle fingers.

   " تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ وَالرُّومُ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ

   ✧ “The Hour will arise while the Romans are the majority of people.”

   " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُخَلِّلُ أَصَابِعَ رِجْلَيْهِ بِخِنْصَرِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَضَّأَ

   ✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ interlacing his toes with his little finger when he performed ablution.

   أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ الْحَوْضَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْمُسْتَوْرِدُ: أَمَا سَمِعْتَهُ ذَكَرَ الْأَوَانِيَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: لَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، يَقُولُ: تُرَى فِيهِ الْآنِيَةَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ

   ✧ The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the Basin, so al-Mustawrid said to him: Did you not hear him mention the vessels? He said: No. He said: But I heard him—meaning the Prophet ﷺ—saying: Vessels will be seen in it more numerous than the stars of the sky.
