   أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ. قَالَ أَحْمَدُ: وَلَمْ يُتَابِعْهُ غَيْرُهُ عَلَى رَفْعِهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ مَطَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، فَلَمْ يَرْوِهِ إِلَّا أَبَانُ، وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبَانَ إِلَّا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ

   ✧ Yazid al-Rishk reported to us, from Abu al-Malih, from his father. Ahmad said: “No one else followed him in raising it from his father. As for the hadith of Matar, from Abu al-Malih, from his father, no one narrated it except Aban, and we know no one who narrated it from Aban except Ishaq b. Idris.”

   ✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed a prayer. He said: I heard him say: "Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Muhammad, protect me from the Fire."

    أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي لَأَدْخُلُ الصَّلَاةَ فَمَا أَدْرِي عَلَى شَفْعٍ أَنْفَتِلُ، أَمْ عَلَى وِتْرٍ لِسُوءِ حِفْظِي ؟ فَقَالَ: إِذَا وَجَدْتَ ذَلِكَ فَضَعْ إِصْبَعَكَ السَّبَّابَةَ عَلَى فَخِذِكَ الْيُسْرَى فَإِنَّهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ

    ✧ A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I enter prayer and I do not know whether I finish on an even or odd number due to my poor memory." He said: "If you find that, place your index finger on your left thigh, for it is from Satan."

    ✧ "A woman threw a stone at another woman, and she miscarried a dead fetus. The Prophet ﷺ ruled for it a ghurra: a male or female slave."
