4. Looking after girls
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 76Sahih
✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them and clothes them from his means, they will be a shield for him from the Fire."
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 77Hasan
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no Muslim who has two daughters and treats them well in their companionship except that they will enter him into Paradise.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 78Hasan
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: Whoever has three daughters, shelters them, suffices them, and shows them mercy, Paradise is assuredly obligatory for him. A man from some of the people said: And two, O Messenger of God? He said: And two.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 79Hasan
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: No one has three daughters or three sisters and treats them well except that he enters Paradise.
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to Suraqah b. Juʿshum: Shall I not guide you to the greatest charity, or one of the greatest charities? He said: Yes, O Messenger of God. He said: Your daughter returned to you, with no one to provide for her other than you.
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: O Suraqah, the like of it.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 82Sahih
✧ He heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: What you feed yourself is charity for you; what you feed your child is charity for you; what you feed your wife is charity for you; and what you feed your servant is charity for you.
✧ A man was with him and he had daughters, and he wished for their death. Ibn ʿUmar became angry and said: Are you the one who provides for them?
