أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ
قِيلَ لِبَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ يُوسُفَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةَ لَا يَغْشَاهَا زَوْجُهَا قَالَ بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ «الصَّلَاةُ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً يَغْشَاهَا زَوْجُهَا»

✧ It was said to Bakr b. 'Abdullah that al-Hajjaj b. Yusuf says that a woman experiencing istihaadah should not be approached by her husband. Bakr b. 'Abdullah al-Muzani said, 'Prayer is of greater sanctity, and her husband may approach her.'
