✧ Umm Sulaym entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while Umm Salamah was with him, and she said: A woman sees in her dream what a man sees? Umm Salamah said: May your hands be dusty, O Umm Sulaym! You have disgraced women. The Prophet ﷺ said, defending Umm Sulaym: Rather, may your hands be dusty. The best of you is the one who asks about what concerns her. When she sees the water, let her perform ghusl. Umm Salamah said: Do women have water? He said: Yes, so how would the child resemble them? They are but the counterparts of men.
