✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. Then he stopped and called for water for ablution and performed ablution. Then the call to prayer was given, and he prayed with the people. When he turned away from his prayer, he saw a man who had stayed apart and had not prayed with the people. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, “What prevented you, O so-and-so, from praying with the people?” He said, “O Messenger of Allah, I became junub and there is no water.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Use clean earth, for it is sufficient for you.”
