✧ The Amount of Water That Does Not Become Impure

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ بِالْفَلَاةِ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ؟ فَقَالَ «إِذَا بَلَغَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَيْءٌ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was asked about water in the open land and what comes to it from animals and beasts of prey. He said, "When water reaches two qullahs, nothing makes it impure."
