Virtue of Knowledge and the Scholar

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ يَقُولُ

«لَيْسَ هَدِيَّةٌ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ كَلِمَةِ حِكْمَةٍ تُهْدِيهَا لِأَخِيكَ»

Translation
