أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شِبْلٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ
قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَعْلَمُ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ جَمَعَ عِلْمَ النَّاسِ إِلَى عِلْمِهِ وَكُلُّ طَالِبِ عِلْمٍ غَرْثَانُ إِلَى عِلْمٍ»
