✧ Abu Hurayrah came to Ka'b asking about him while Ka'b was among the people. Ka'b said, 'What do you want from him?' He said, 'Indeed, I do not know anyone among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who has better memorization of his hadith than me.' Ka'b said, 'Indeed, you will not find anyone seeking something but that he will eventually be satiated with it at some time, except a seeker of knowledge or a seeker of this world.' He said, 'Are you Ka'b?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'It is for something like this that I came.'
