أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَفَلَ تُلُقِّيَ بِي وَبِالْحَسَنِ أَوْ بِالْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ الْحَسَنَ فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَالْحَسَنَ وَرَاءَهُ حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَنَحْنُ عَلَى الدَّابَّةِ الَّتِي عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ
Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a journey, he would be met by me and al-Hasan or al-Husayn. He said: “I think he said al-Hasan.” He carried me in front of him and al-Hasan behind him until we entered Madinah, and we were on the mount that the Prophet ﷺ was riding.
