✧ A man killed a man during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ set his blood money at twelve thousand. That is His saying: {They swear by Allah that they did not say it, while they had certainly said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except because Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty.} [At-Tawbah: 74] because of their taking the blood money.
