حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
تُنْكَحُ النِّسَاءُ لِأَرْبَعٍ لِلدِّينِ وَالْجَمَالِ وَالْمَالِ وَالْحَسَبِ فَعَلَيْكَ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ

from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “Women are married for four reasons: for religion, beauty, wealth, and lineage. So choose the one with religion—may your hands be dust-covered.”
