حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ وَقَعَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَمَاتَتْ فَقَالَ «خُذُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَاطْرَحُوهُ»

Isḥāq al-Anṣārī narrated it from Maʿn, from Mālik, from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUbayd Allāh, in mursal form from the Prophet ﷺ. Yūnus narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUbayd Allāh b. ʿAbd Allāh, who said: "It has reached us that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ..." and likewise Ibn Jurayj narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUbayd Allāh, in mursal form. ʿAbd al-Jabbār b. ʿUmar narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Sālim, from his father, and made an error (wahima) in it. The authentic (al-ṣaḥīḥ) chain from al-Zuhrī is: from ʿUbayd Allāh, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from Maymūnah.
