أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى يَقُولُ
«سَعَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَنَحْنُ نَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ أَنْ يُصِيبَهُ أَحَدٌ بِحَجَرٍ أَوْ بِرَمْيَةٍ»
Translation

✧ He narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ran between Safa and Marwah while we shielded him from the people of Makkah, lest someone hit him with a stone or a shot.
