أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى
كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ فَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ إِنَّهُ يَتْرُكُ الطَّعَامَ وَشَهْوَتَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي وَيَتْرُكُ الشَّرَابَ وَشَهْوَتَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي فَهُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ

✧ Every deed of the son of Adam is for him; the good deed is multiplied ten times its like up to seven hundredfold, except fasting. It is for Me, and I reward it. He leaves his food and his desire for My sake, and he leaves his drink and his desire for My sake. So it is for Me, and I reward it.
