Sunan ad-Darimi 1709

✧ Translation: "The Divine Decree in What is Rained down from the Sky and What is Watered by Irrigation

أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ

«بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آخُذَ مِنَ الثِّمَارِ مَا يَسْقِي بَعْلًا الْعُشْرَ وَمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّانِيَةِ فَنِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ»

✧ "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Yemen and ordered me to take a tenth from fruits watered by rainfall and half a tenth from those watered by irrigation."
