machine translationAl-Ḥasan's hearing from Samurah is disputed.
in مسند الدارمي, p. 1577 - Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr
machine translationThe hadith of al-Ḥasan from Samurah, even though al-Ḥasan did not hear from Samurah, as they say, except the hadith of the ʿaqīqah, is the best of them in chain of transmission. It has been reported that he heard from Samurah other than the hadith of the ʿaqīqah.
