✧ Prayers at the eclipse

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيْسَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا»

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Ismāʿīl
  3. Qays
  4. Abū Masʿūd
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ “The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death of any person, but they are two signs among the signs of Allah. So when you see them, stand and pray.”
