✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a person prays, they are having a private conversation with their Lord, or their Lord is addressing them directly between them and the qibla (direction of prayer). So when one of you spits, let them spit to their left or under their foot, or say, 'Like this' and spit on their garment and rub it with some of it on the other."
