✧ The Door of Prostration to the Seven Great Ones, and How to Perform Prostration.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ الْجَبْهَةِ قَالَ وُهَيْبٌ وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى أَنْفِهِ وَالْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَأَطْرَافِ الْقَدَمَيْنِ وَلَا نَكُفَّ الثِّيَابَ وَلَا الشَّعَرَ

Translation

✧ "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones: the forehead"—Wuhayb said, and he pointed with his hand to his nose—"and the two hands, the two knees, and the toes of the two feet, and not to tuck up the garments or the hair."
