  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationAmong the things that indicate the weakness of this ḥadīth of al-Aʿmash is that Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth transmitted it as a statement of a Companion (mawqūf) from al-Aʿmash and denied that it was traced back to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Asbāṭ b. Muḥammad also transmitted it as mawqūf from al-Aʿmash, from ʿĀʾishah.

  • Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī

machine translationThis ḥadīth of Ḥabīb b. Abī Thābit is weak (ḍaʿīf). Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Qaṭṭān, ʿAlī b. al-Madīnī and Yaḥyā b. Maʿīn declared it weak. Sufyān al-Thawrī said: Ḥabīb b. Abī Thābit did not hear anything from ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr.

    in سنن الدارقطني, p. 829
  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationIt is not authentic (ṣaḥīḥ). It has been narrated as a statement of ʿĀʾishah (mawqūf), and that is more authentic according to most.

    in سنن الدارقطني, p. 829
  • Abū Daʾūd

machine translationWeak (ḍaʿīf), not authentic (lā taṣiḥḥ).

    in سنن الدارقطني, p. 829
  • Mizzī

machine translationI think Yaḥyā means the objectionable (munkar) ḥadīth of the woman with irregular bleeding (mustaḥāḍah), that she prays even if the blood drips onto the mat.
