Sunan al-Daraqutni 4416

✧ Making Vinegar from Wine

نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ نا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّمَّانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ بِهَذَا وَقَالَ

فَحَبَسَ أَصْلَهَا لَا يُبَاعُ وَلَا يُوهَبُ وَلَا يُورَثُ فَتَصَدَّقَ بِهَا عَلَى الْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْقُرْبَى وَالرِّقَابِ وَفِي الْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَالضَّيْفِ

Translation

✧ So he kept its principal: it is not sold, nor given as a gift, nor inherited. He gave it as charity to the poor, the near relatives, the slaves, the needy, the wayfarer, and the guest.
