machine translationAl-Thawrī narrated it as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ), omitting al-Ḥasan. Jarīr b. Ḥāzim narrated it from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah, as raised (marfūʿ). Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān and al-Naḍr b. Shumayl said, from Ashʿath, from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah, as raised (marfūʿ). ʿĪsā b. Yūnus differed from them and narrated it from Ashʿath, from Ibn Sīrīn, as raised (marfūʿ). ʿAbd al-Aʿlā narrated it from Hishām, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿĀʾishah, as raised (marfūʿ). Mukhallad b. Ḥusayn differed from him and narrated it from Hishām, from Muḥammad, from Abū Hurayrah, from ʿĀʾishah. Both are mistaken (wahm), and the correct version is from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Rāfiʿ, from Abū Hurayrah.
