نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ نا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ أنا عَمِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عُجَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَزِيدَ
أَنَّ رُكَانَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ يَزِيدَ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ سُهَيْمَةَ الْبَتَّةَ ثُمَّ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي طَلَّقْتُ امْرَأَتِي سُهَيْمَةَ الْبَتَّةَ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَرَدْتُ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِرُكَانَةَ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَرَدْتَ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً فَقَالَ رُكَانَةُ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَرَدْتُ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً فَرَدَّهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَطَلَّقَهَا الثَّانِيَةَ فِي زَمَانِ عُمَرَ وَالثَّالِثَةَ فِي زَمَانِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ

Then he divorced her a second time in the time of ʿUmar, and a third time in the time of ʿUthmān ؓ.
