نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ نا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ نا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ بَحْرِيَّةَ بِنْتِ هَانِئِ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ قَالَتْ
زَوَّجْتُ نَفْسِي الْقَعْقَاعَ بْنَ شَوْرٍ وَبَاتَ عِنْدِي لَيْلَةً وَجَاءَ أَبِي مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَاسْتَعْدَى عَلِيًّا وَجَاءَتْ رُسُلُهُ فَانْطَلَقُوا بِهِ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَدْخَلَتْ بِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ فَأَجَازَ النِّكَاحَ

✧ I married myself to al-Qa‘qa‘ b. Shawr, and he spent one night with me. Then my father came from the Bedouins and appealed to ‘Ali, and his messengers came, so they took him to him. He said, “Did you consummate the marriage with her?” He said, “Yes.” So he permitted the marriage.
