نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ نا رَوْحٌ نا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ

جَمَعَتِ الطَّرِيقُ رَكْبًا فَجَعَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُمْ ثَيِّبٌ أَمْرَهَا بِيَدِ رَجُلٍ غَيْرِ وَلِيٍّ فَأَنْكَحَهَا فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرَ فَجَلَدَ النَّاكِحَ وَالْمُنْكِحَ وَرَدَّ نِكَاحَهَا

✧ The road gathered a group of riders, and a woman among them who had been previously married placed her affair in the hands of a man who was not her guardian, and he married her off. That reached Umar, so he flogged the one who married her and the one who gave her in marriage, and he rejected her marriage.
