نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ نا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ نا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنِ الْجَلْدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ يَا ابْنَ شَامَةِ الْوَذْرِ فَاسْتَعْدَى عَلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا عَنَيْتُ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَأَمَرَ بِهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ فَجُلِدَ الْحَدَّ

✧ A man said to another man: 'O son of the woman with the fleshy vulva.' So the latter appealed to Uthman b. Affan against him. The man said: 'I only meant such-and-such by it.' Uthman b. Affan ordered him to be flogged with the hadd punishment.
