حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَارَسْتَانِيُّ وَالْقَاضِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَا نا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسَدِيُّ نا أَبِي نا قَيْسٌ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ قَالَ خَرَجَ قَوْمٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ
فَقُتِلَ مِنْهُمْ رَجُلٌ فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ بَيِّنَتُكُمْ قَالُوا مَا لَنَا بَيِّنَةٌ قَالَ فَتَنْفُلُكُمْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَقَالُوا إِذًا تَقْتُلُنَا الْيَهُودُ قَالَ فَأَيْمَانُكُمْ أَنْتُمْ قَالُوا لَمْ نَشْهَدْ فَوَدَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ مَالٍ أَتَاهُ
