ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْقَطَّانُ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ نا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
أَتَوْا حَيًّا مِنَ الْعَرَبِ فَلَمْ يَقْرُوهُمْ فَبَيْنَا هُمْ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ لُدِغَ سَيِّدُ أُولَئِكَ فَقَالُوا أَفِيكُمْ دَوَاءٌ أَوْ رَاقٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَقْرُونَا فَلَا نَفْعَلُ أَوْ تَجْعَلُوا لَنَا جُعْلًا فَجَعَلُوا لَهُمْ قَطِيعًا مِنْ شَاءٍ فَجَعَلَ يَقْرَأُ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَيَجْمَعُ بُزَاقَهُ وَيَتْفِلُ فَبَرَأَ الرَّجُلُ فَأَتَوْهُمْ بِالشَّاءِ فَقَالُوا لَا نَأْخُذُهَا حَتَّى نَسْأَلَ عَنْهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَضَحِكَ وَقَالَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ أَنَّهَا رُقْيَةٌ خُذُوهَا وَاضْرِبُوا لِي فِيهَا بِسَهْمٍ
