حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَرَّاقُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ سَمِعَ مِنَ أَبِيهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ قُلْتُ فَأَبُوهُ سَمِعَ مِنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ نَعَمْ أُرَاهُ قَدْ سَمِعَ مِنْهُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيَّ يَقُولُ هُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ وَقَدْ صَحَّ سَمَاعُ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ
عَنْ أَبِيهِ شُعَيْبٍ وَصَحَّ سَمَاعُ شُعَيْبٍ مِنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
Translation

machine translationAbū Bakr al-Naysābūrī narrated to us: Muḥammad b. ʿAlī al-Warrāq narrated to us, he said: I said to Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal: Did ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb hear anything from his father? He said: He says, "My father narrated to me." I said: And did his father hear from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr? He said: Yes, I think he heard from him. I heard Abū Bakr al-Naysābūrī say: He is ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb b. Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ, and the hearing of ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb has been established as authentic.
