…from the stoning, and the stoning from the shaving; and a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I sacrificed before I stoned." He said, "Stone, and there is no harm." The sacrifice from the stoning, and the stoning from the sacrifice. And another man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of God, I sacrificed before I shaved." He said, "Shave, and there is no harm." The sacrifice from the shaving, and the shaving from the sacrifice. Abū Bakr said to us: Ibn Jurayj narrated it; this hadith of ʿAṭāʾ comes after the hadith of Ibn Shihāb, from ʿĪsā b. Ṭalḥah, from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr, that while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering a sermon on the Day of Sacrifice, he mentioned the hadith, and he said in it: "I did not think, O Messenger of God, that this came before that," regarding these three. The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no harm." And among these three is the shaving before the stoning.
